So...
Potheads I know are the opposite of cold-hearted…. you included, Egirl.
einsteinsfangirl:
A guy I follow has been talking about the nature of potheads and claims that they detach from their emotional selves and become cold-hearted. As I like to believe that I am compassionate and empathic, but often like to think things that just aren’t true about myself…I out myself as a pot head...

e-girl: We’ve been revisiting Dylan of late. Yesterday I pulled a book off my shelf and spent some time flipping through it last night: ”Dylan’s Visions of Sin” by Christopher Ricks. The author categories Dylan’s work into 3 groups based on the 7 Deadly Sins, the 4 Virtues, and The 4 Heavenly Graces. Quite fascinating.

Don’t give up on making pie crust. Homemade so blows away frozen. My key ingredient is White Lily flour. For one crust for your quiche, put 1 cup of flour into electric mixer bowl, add 1/3 cup + 1 Tbl Crisco, & pinch of salt. Mix until it resembles small pea-size lumps. Add 2-3 Tbls ice water. Mix quickly just to bring it together. Dump it on a flour-dusted counter. Bring it...

A warning to a few of my followers
I’m sure you are embarking on a wonderful journey. The worship at our church is just awesome; I really sense the presence of the Holy Spirit. Have fun!!!

To fulfill my seminary requirement, one of the things I will have to do, is select music for a worship service. As I long ago left behind my hymnal and lyric sheets to praise songs, I will be pulling my musical...

Woke up to a gorgeous sunshiney day in Athens, GA. Packed a suitcase, and made the stress-free/trouble-free drive to the airport. Now I’m sitting in the Skylounge enjoying the quiet and free food/beverages before heading to DC where I get to see:

Been cookin' up a storm
I have been loving my time off work. It has given me time to cook and bake all my specialties. The best part is pleasing my family and friends with some goodies they don’t get to enjoy very often. Here are some of the things that have come from kitchen the last week:
Christmas Dinner: Prime Rib; Au Gratin Potatoes; Roasted Brussel Sprouts; Spring Mix Greens w/ Granny Smith Apples, Dried...

That’s the spirit! I turned 48 two weeks ago and I can honestly say, life just gets better. Our 4 boys are grown, well-adjusted, working, love us and the Lord. Our 30th wedding anniversary is next week and we are definitely better than ever. What more could you want?

They are right and trustworthy. Just sucks the vacation $$. Thank God for the pesky little noise yesterday or I...
